Improving Tulane

Food Recovering Network Tulane is a student run organization that recovers food from campus dining services, working with companies like Sodexo, and delivers food to various New Orleans housing/care organizations. Contact William Martin, wmartin6@tulane.edu.

TEDxTU organizes speaking events to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline & Education (SAPHE) operates a 24/7 confidential hotline to provide support and information to the Tulane community regarding all issues surrounding sexual aggression. Contact Jessica Rubinsky, jrubinsk@tulane.edu

Rotaract provides an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. Net Impact Tulane Chapter is a student group that acts as a platform for social innovation and social entrepreneurship at Tulane, in New Orleans, and around the world. We help the Tulane Community understand these themes at all different levels – from introducing the concept of social entrepreneurship through helping students find a career with social impact.
